The service
Cotto Dal Fuoco LLC is a chef-driven meal preparation service based in the Bronx, New York. We publish a menu each week, cook the plates our guests order, and deliver them within our listed New York City zones.
Ordering and payment
Every order is a one-time purchase. There is no plan, no subscription to meals, and nothing bills automatically. You choose the plates you want in a given week, you pay for that order once, and nothing further is charged unless you place another order.
Each recipe carries its own price according to its band. The price shown on the menu is the price you pay for that plate. Orders of six or more plates receive a volume saving that increases with the plate count, and the current rates are stated on the pricing page. A delivery fee applies to every order, and orders must meet a published minimum plate count or order value. Add-on items, when offered, carry a $2.99 access fee per order.
A first-order discount is available once per person, on a first purchase only. All prices and savings are calculated by our server at checkout, and the amount shown at payment is the amount charged. Sales tax is calculated at checkout.
You can order with an account or without one, using an email address and a phone number. Membership is not currently offered for sale.
The weekly schedule
Ordering for a delivery week opens on Tuesday and closes Friday at 6 PM Eastern. We shop on Saturday, cook on Sunday, and deliver on Monday. An order cannot be placed outside that window. Plates you have chosen but not paid for are held for you until the window opens again.
Delivery
We deliver in New York City, opening borough by borough starting in the Bronx. The ZIP check on our site tells you whether we deliver to you this week. We check the delivery ZIP code before taking payment, and we collect the full delivery address during checkout. If the address you provide falls outside the area we serve, we will contact you to arrange a refund or a corrected address before your delivery week.
Changing or cancelling an order
Because each order is a single purchase, there is nothing to cancel for future weeks. To change an order before the Friday 6 PM cutoff, contact us at contact@cotto.nyc. After the cutoff the order has been costed and its ingredients sourced, so it cannot be changed. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Food safety
Meals are prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen. Details of our permits are available on request. Each delivery includes ingredient and allergen information. Guests with severe allergies should contact us at contact@cotto.nyc before ordering.
Limitation of liability
Cotto Dal Fuoco LLC's liability for any single order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We do not warrant fitness for any particular dietary or medical purpose. Always consult a medical professional for diet and nutrition decisions.
